The Lands at the Animal Kingdom
As with all Disney parks, the Animal Kingdom is made up of several lands, each with a different theme and set of attractions. As you enter the park, then begin a counter-clockwise tour around the rim, the lands are:
Park Entrance - Ticket booths, turnstiles, and guest services.
The Oasis - the Main Street of the Animal Kingdom and entrance to the central hub.
Discovery Island - the central hub of the Animal Kingdom, gateway to the other lands
Dinoland U.S.A. - an area dedicated to animals that once lived but cannot be seen
Asia - one of the two living animal themed lands in the park
Rafiki's Planet Watch - an educational area focused on the park's zoological mission
Africa - the other living animal themed land
Camp Minnie-Mickey - campground area for Disney characters
