Camp Minnie-Mickey
Description
Camp Minnie-Mickey is styled to be a summer camp set in the Adirondacks, where Mickey and his friends go for a nature refresher. It is home to a show and character meet-and-greets.
History
Camp Minnie-Mickey was the substitute for the Beastly Kingdomme that was in the Imagineers' original plans for the Animal Kingdom. Budget cuts caused that mythical land to be "postponed" (for twelve years and counting), and this land was slapped together quickly. Another show used to be housed here: Pocahontas and her Forest Friends ran from the original park opening to September 27, 2008.
Review
While extremely short on attractions (especially with the cancellation of Pocahontas), Camp Minnie-Mickey has some nice theming, and the very best background music in the park. Crowds will ebb and flow with the schedule for Festival of the Lion King.

Characters
The Character Greeting Trails are pavilions where Disney characters, many dressed for camping, pose for pictures and sign autographs. Disney PhotoPass photographers are usually available. The characters vary, but may include Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pooh, Eeyore, and the Br'er characters (Fox, Rabbit, and Bear) from Song of the South. Thumper has recently been spotted here, as well.
This is just another character greeting area, although it is reasonably constant throughout the day (usually starting an hour after park opening, and only stopping for short breaks by the characters).
