Disney's Animal Kingdom® added to its dining options today by introducing
Picnic in the Park, a service for guests to purchase picnic meals and enjoy them
in various locations throughout the theme park. Guests have a choice between
two tiers (with sandwiches as the entree, or a choice of ham or rotisserie
chicken) and can purchase a meal for from three to six people. Each meal comes
with a number of side dishes, as well as a dessert and Dasani® water for
each person. At this time it is not known if this is a permanent addition to the
Animal Kingdom dining options, or is just meant to handle the current extremely
high crowd levels during this Easter/spring break season.
