Colobos Monkey born at Animal Kingdom

3/5/09 A black-and-white Colobos monkey baby was born on February 17, the first such birth at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Kabibi, the infant's mother, has been showing maternal behavior, which has encouraged the animal care staff at the park. Kabibi was relocated to the Animal Kingdom as part of the Species Survival Plan, which Disney has been active in since the first plans for the park were drawn up.
The new arrival can be seen on the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail.
