This was a trip to remember, for all of the wrong reasons. Having been to Walt Disney World® five times previously, we really thought we had our act together and could do some spontaneous planning without getting in trouble. Within an hour of arriving at the Animal Kingdom, however, we felt like every other unprepared first-time visitor, only we knew what the alternative was, so if possible we felt worse.

Animal Kingdom Sets Attendance Record in 2008

According to the 2008 TEA/ERA Theme Park Attendance Report, published jointly by the Themed Entertainment Association and Economic Resources Associates, Disney's Animal Kingdom® set an attendance record for 2008, attracting 9,540,000 visitors last year, up 0.5% from 2007.

Pocahontas returns to Camp Minnie-Mickey...sort of

In response to the unexpected high crowds for the Easter season, Disney has brought Pocahontas back to Camp Minnie-Mickey through April 15. Not in her Forest Friends show, but telling stories at the Good Times Gathering Spot.
